Local area
The remains of a medieval castle at Solarolo can be viewed at the small town of Manerba. Salo is most definitely worth a visit, a beautiful town with the longest promenade on Lake Garda and many shops and lakeside restaurants. The largest town on the lake, Desenzano del Garda is about 19km away, and further afield, but within easy reach, is the operatic city of Verona and romantic Venice.
